On 2/2/23, student participants of the GEMS (Girls Empowered, Motivated, and Strong) program at Crozier Middle School had the privilege of viewing the private art collection of Dr. Joy Simmons. Dr. Simmons is a local physician and avid art collector, and serves as a board member of the California African-American Museum (CAAM) in Los Angeles. The GEMS program is run by the Beverly Hills West (CA) chapter of the Links, Incorporated, and facilitated by Crozier teacher, and BHW Links chapter member, Maygan Orr.
